Athiests in the Military

I guess the military has changed, or maybe the entire world has. I remember a time in the military when going to church would have invited ridicule; now it seems not doing so is the problem. This story in CNN paints an interesting picture of how far the conservative Christian movement has infiltrated the rank and file. I would imagine Jews or Catholics have a hard time too, not just atheists. Anytime you stray from the “established norm” you’re asking for trouble, especially if that norm is a bunch of self-righteous fundamentalists.
